Leib Tropper: Dealing in Intangibles

Entrepreneur Leib Tropper deals in intangibles rather than widgets: good character, knowledge, respect, and redemption. A graduate of Rabbi Jacob Joseph Elementary School on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, he was advancing his education in Israel by age 14. There, he studied at Torah Ore Yeshiva under Hagaon Rav Chaim P. Scheinberg. A lifelong writer and educator, Rabbi Leib Tropper has traveled worldwide in search of spiritual guidance and to spread the message through outreach and other programs. He has researched extensively and gained insight from some of Israel’s leading Torah scholars.

A strong believer in the value of good character, the rabbi supports Character First, an initiative based in Israel. Through research, lectures, and writing, he educates the public, the business sector, and other educators on the trait’s importance. He also delivers the message to young adults, particularly students, the primary targets of the program. As any good entrepreneur, Rabbi Leib Tropper doesn’t assume he has all the answers; he continues to research the topic and learn more himself, including collecting meaningful testimonials and studying the Torah for applicable passages.

Rabbi Leib also instituted Horizons, an outreach program designed to educate and inspire the uninitiated to experience the Torah lifestyle. Acting as the Director, he traveled throughout the United States, visiting large cities and rural areas, utilizing his entrepreneurial communications skills to network. For this program, Rabbi Leib Tropper also traveled abroad to such major cities as Paris, Berlin, and London. The author of several books, he continues to do what he does best: interact with people to make his and their lives better through education and illumination. While he doesn’t sell widgets, the rabbi does provide insights that may provide greater longevity.

Leib Tropper is a supporter of Character First.
